The Van Buren County Literacy Council’s Adult Learning Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide free tutoring for adults 16 and older in reading, writing, math and computer skills, or to prepare a person to enter the GED program.  Trained volunteer tutors work with students one-on-one at a mutually convenient time and place.  The Council maintains an office and classroom in Clinton, and also holds tutoring sessions in Fairfield Bay.
